We finished main structural work this Friday, right on time for Neurocampus project we are constructing in Bordeaux. That’s about 16 000m² floors built according to the unique geometry of the project, in less than 8 month. On Friday, heavy tools and cranes had been taken away, making room for technical and interior fittings.

Neurocampus is a research center located at Bordeaux 2 University, focused on Neurodegenerative diseases like Parkinson. We’re building it for the Aquitaine Region and the local scientific community.

The unique volume of this new building results from the idea that it should respond to the tight urban context and offer at the same time, functional and free interiors.

Each floor is generated from a simple geometry, but articulated in reaction to its surroundings, to either generate great views, or to make space tighter.
